Sagres is located on the extreme south west point of the country and is considered as the end of the road for those who travel from the north to the south, but an important point of the whole trip. The environment that this little village transmits needs to be felt, to be understood, and will certainly not be forgotten!

 

Arrifana is an extremely appreciated spot with many hidden secrets in surrounding areas. The sand extension of the gorgeous Praia do Amado reflects “hippie times” without losing its pureness.

 

There is also the fascinating Ponta Ruiva, with a tricky access but still really worth the adventure. Also towards the South coast, near the center of Sagres, it is possible to find some unbelievable breaks exposed to different compass points, which rarely fail – Mareta, Tonel, Beliche, Zavial and Igrina.
