Ericeira, recently nominated as a “World Surfing Reserve” is one of the most desired and emblematic surf destinations in the world, offering a wide diversity of world-class point breaks such as Coxos, a magnificent right-hander and Ribeira d’Ilhas, also right-hander, long and perfect for technical improvement. Cave is definitely the heaviest wave, only tangible for some professionals. This fishing village with fabulous alleys and classic façades has also many fun beach breaks for all levels of surfing – Foz do Lizandro and São Julião.

 

After surfing, on this land “where the sea is even bluer”, it’s a sin not to try the fantastic bolos secos from Casa Gama, downtown’s Ouriços to taste a great grilled fish for lunch or dinner.
